Rules

1. All comments should generally be family friendly. Vulgarity is only allowed in literary works, roleplays, the people tab, and blog entries. Check here for the YWS position on censorship.

2. All literary works must be rated appropriately using the rating system. Additionally, content ratings must be added when writing in public WriterFeedPads, and roleplays should be appropriately rated using topic tags. Click here for an explanation of content ratings.

3. Members should seek to improve one another's writing skills. Review Spam of any type is not tolerated and may lead to a temporary or permanent ban from YWS. Reviews generated primarily by AI or copy-pasted from outside sources will be treated as Review Spam.

4. This is a writer's forum; therefore, users should aim for proper spelling and grammar in reviews, roleplays, and forum posts.

5. Harassment of other members or plagiarism may result in a permanent ban from YWS.

6. Asking for someone's personally identifiable information, such as address or phone number, may result in a permanent ban from YWS.

7. Members may not use alternate accounts to harass or manipulate users, manipulate the literary/review center, or to spam any area of the site.

8. Please report all incidents of rule-breaking to a moderator, admin, by using the report button, or by using the 'Contact Mods' button at the top of every page. Do not take it upon yourself to deal with the situation; it is a moderator's duty to tell someone when they are out of line, not your own.

Note: All YWS rules apply to WriterFeedPads.

If you have any concerns or questions, email us at support@youngwriterssociety.com or contact a moderator from the YWS Team.

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
