Guess The Inspiration

by VioletFantasy

The magnificent north

Hesitant with a sword

But possessing true aim

The gentle south

May seem timid and soft spoken

But is as smart and as quick as a whip

The just west

Can be mislead at first

But loves harder than the rest

The valiant east

Sweeter than Turkish delight

And a friend to all

Hello👋🏻

My name is Kathryn.❤️ I love poems so much and I have to say this poem is SO GOOD. I will be giving you some pros and cons.

Pros
1. The first few line were very intriguing, they really drew me in
2. It was very compact with detail which was awesome
3. It used a lot of descriptive words that helped to keep the poem moving
4. It had a very nice flow to it which made it easy to read

Cons
1. I feel like it jumped around a little bit but it got on track pretty fast
2. Couldn't tell who was telling the story

I hope you have a great day

Kathryn or KaPo21❤️

Great job on the poem, it is very interesting and different. One thing I have to say is that some of your lines rhymed like. "The just west, Can be mislead at first, But loves harder than the rest." That rhymes, but this one for example does not. "The valiant east, Sweeter than Turkish delight, And a friend to all." I loved the metaphors you used in it. Your poem was very powerful, and brought me right back to The Chronicles of Narnia. My favorite part was the beginning, "The magnificent north, Hesitant with a sword, But possessing true aim." That part was really good. Great job overall, can't wait to read what you write next!

Carpe diem,
LUNARGIRL

You used great metaphors! It was very powerful, and really something else! it makes the reader feel every word!

The only thing that I'd suggest you keep in mind is that: some things rhyme in your poem, and some don't, which, maybe you tried to do. But it can be even more powerful if there is a pattern (:

Thanks for the feedback!

I think this poem is really something, mysterious yet so clear. I really enjoyed reading this and I think it is beautifully written. My guess is....Narnia Chronicles.
North=Peter Pevensie
South=Susan Pevensie
West=Edward Penvensie
East=Lucy Penvensie
