When I hear a country song,
One thought comes in my head.
Just one more twangy baritone,
And I'll soon be dead!

They like to sing 'bout heartbreak,
And other things the like.
I'll listen to more hopeful things,
Or else will take a hike!

I like this. It's nice and short but the message is definitely clear, that country music sucks. I couldn't agree more. The rhyming is good, too. Good work. Keep it up.

I enjoyed reading it but I do have a few idea how you could make it better.
Instead of saying When I hear a country song,One thought comes in my head. Why not try and put it like this When I hear a country song,One thought comes to my mind.

and here instead of-They like to sing 'bout heartbreak,And other things the like. why not try it like this They like to sing 'bout heartbreak,And other things they might like.

overall Very good poem.

Pfft. I love country music. This is short and sweet, I like it and I wouldn't chnage anything.

This felt more like a poem to me than a song, but I liked it anyway. I can't stand country music...especially male country singers...it makes me cringe. I like some female country singers like Shania Twain and Taylor Swift, but that's it.
