Got a poem or short story you want me to critique?

That's just evil, lol, choosing I mean.

In no order off the top of my head:

-Where the Red Fern Grows
-The Catcher Over the Rye
-Of Mice and Men
-1776
-The Hornet's Nest
-Diary of Elbridge Gerry, Jr. (Hard reading but it's very neat!)
-The Green Mile
-Fear Street Saga (Hey, it was one of the most interesting childhood series I've read and well written too!)
-Paul Revere's Ride
-Any biography about Sam Adams

...Yes, I read a lot of non-fiction these days. ;)
The sadness drains through me rather than skating over my skin. It travels through every cell to reach the ground. I filter it yet strangely enough, I keep what was pure and it is the dirt that leaves.

Haha, I am sooo reading that book right now! But I just started, so I can't say whether or not I like it.

I don't think I have an unchanging top ten, but at this exact moment:

1 - Ella Enchanted, Gail Carson Levine
2 - An Unquiet Mind: A Memoir of Moods and Madness, Kay Redfield Jamison
3 - Till We Have Faces, C.S. Lewis
4 - The Iliad, Homer
5 - Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow, Orson Scott Card
6 - The Mark of the Lion series, Francine Rivers
7 - 1984, George Orwell
8 - Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
9 - The Bible (I've been reading a lot of Proverbs, Lamentations, and minor prophets lately... awesome stuff)
10 - The Outsiders, S.E. Hinton
