Even though I don't tend to write it much (I want to, but it just doesn't happen), fantasy's probably my favourite - but not so much high-fantasy as fantasy set in the modern world. I also love historical, and don't mind a bit of sci-fi from time to time.
I'll read almost any genre as long as I like the writing style and the characters are well-rounded. That said, I was a really big fantasy fan back in the day. Now I'm flexible on the genre (fantasy, science fiction, historical, steampunk, satire, a mix) as long as I like the writing style, characters, and as long as all romance is a subplot and not the only reason anything happens.
Though I have my limits on horror and explicit romance. I can handle blood and a few broken bones, even a fatal gash, as long as there's no more description than necessary. No need to get into juicy adjectives to make the readers throw up on your book. And when the romance gets really physical... anything more serious than hugging and kissing and I don't want to know about it.
This is all just a matter of personal taste of course.

I like books in general, but my favorite genre would definitely be Fantasy. Fantasy is, to me, a way to explore foreign worlds, and I always loved that idea.
