Happy week four! Can you believe that it's going to be a month? I'm going to be doing a Squills article for a Month One Round up where I give a summary of what's happened so far in each story. Captains, if you would like to help out with that, you can send me a summary of what's happened so far either in PM or in this week's Ship Log ^^

Combined, that's over 1.5 Nano novels in the same time period. I am extremely proud of you all. Writing collaboratively has its challenges, so writing this much under time constraints is no easy task. Pat yourselves on the back before you get into writing for Month Two!
Before I end this round up, I know collaborative writing has its challenges, especially with real life constraints. For whatever reason, one of your crewmates may need to leave the competition. It's natural and it's completely okay. I hope we all support them in that decision, because it is not an easy one to make! However, as a crew it does add more stress onto your ship. So, I'm adding one additional measure to help you if your ship faces some rocky waters.
If your ship is not full, you may call upon a Lifeguard, an additional writer to join your crew late. Their words will count towards your weekly goals. You get one Lifeguard.
-Lifeguards will not be competing in the title. If your ship wins with a Lifeguard, they will get a Buoy Badge for helping, but they will not gain the title of Last Ship Sailing, since they were not in it from the beginning.
-Ghost Writers cannot become Lifeguards. Lifeguards will become a Ghost Writer if they do not write for two weeks in a row.
-It is up to a Crew and their Captain to find a Lifeguard. Once you have found one, please let me know.
