Speaking of cheese combinations -> anyone ever eat cheddar cheese on their apple pie? I think that's more popular in North East states, but rarely I've seen Apple Pie served that way in the Midwest too. Have tried before, but can't say I can see the reason for doing it. Seems better to eat the two separately. an article in case there are any doubters of this combination

That is also an abomination xD But, yeah, fair haha. Do you eat salt on watermelons and/or apples? That was fully just a normal thing growing up but some people act like I'm insane.

Ah I don't, but definitely have heard of it! I do eat salt + pepper + sugar (all three at once) @_@ on my tomatoes though - which is a bit similar to the watermelon thing. :3

But, yeah, I agree it's similar! I don't even know how to describe the combination. Like, it doesn't become a "this is a salty food" sort of vibe like chips or pretzels -- but it just kind of enhances the flavor in general? It's very nice. And I've won people over on it after I forced them to try it haha

There are a lot of different approaches to eating things. It sounds exotic and delicious. Cheddar cheese on apple pie sounds like some accident but I can imagine that the combination of the flavours could taste great.

And we're all like you fully don't like that, you just let applesauce get on your pizza and make it soggy and now you're pretending like you like it.

I tried it once and it's not actually as repulsive as it sounds but is definitely not fantastic haha
