Ah good! Some people absolutely hate public speaking - but I think there's definitely a side of it that is fairly empowering, exciting, and enjoyable. If you are interested in what you're talking about that always helps too :]

I don't have context for this conversation haha but I've found audience matters a lot. Like, for the most part, teaching doesn't make me nervous because I'm like "eh, I'm the expert here. I am unlikely to make a mistake but even if I do they're not going to know any better." Where with science conferences I'm like (O).(o) "they'll all know I'm a fraud the instant I open my mouth" haha

I´m a bit reserved at the beginning, but I do enjoy speaking in front of a crowd as long as the presentation was done by me. That was something I really like doing back in school and even nowadays at work.
