When you donate points to someone, will they be notified that so and so sent them points or do the points just transfer over without anyone knowing you sent them?

No notifications happen; it's done anonymously unless you PM the member saying you donated points.
You know you're a writer when you're not alarmed at hearing voices in your head, you can't read a book without analyzing it for plot & characters and you consider something you nearly killed yourself to write the most rewarding.
Indeed, what Rosey said. There USED to be PM notifications for them saying "*username* gave you *number* points, etc", but not anymore.
