I used to do the same thing when I went to a public school. I would sometimes even turn in a test paper that had random cartoons and whatnot on them
I was lectured quite a bit for that, but my art teachers absolutely adored and encouraged me to keep doing it!

1. The sun is a littttttttle bit juvenile. And why is it grey?
2. The girl's neck is really thick and masculine looking. Her eyes should also be a little lower on her head. My cousin in Japan lectured me on proportions for, like, 3 hours, lol.
