As promised, here's plenty of warning so you can all be prepared for the next mass word war. It's not until the sixteenth because I don't want to infringe on the YWS birthday celebrations but I chose this day for another reason as well: it's just over half way through NaNoWriMo season.

I'm sure some people will be starting to flag by then (I'm behind again already :P ) so what better way to get the motivation going than ten sessions of word wars? Here's the schedule on how the five and a half hours will be split up, attend as many or few as you desire:

(All times given are in GMT)

Round one: half an hour: 9:00pm
Round two: twenty mins: 9:35pm
Round three: twenty mins 10:00pm
Round four: twenty mins: 10:25pm
Round five: half an hour: 10:50pm
Round six: twenty mins: 11:25pm
Round seven: twenty mins: 11:50pm
Round eight: twenty mins: 12:15pm
Round nine: twenty mins: 12:40pm
Round ten: half an hour: 1:10pm

And this also gives anyone who doesn't go by the GMT system enough time to use a converter and make a note in their diaries =)

Hope to see some of you there!

I have no idea what a word war is, but it sounds fun. I might just make it one.
But that is not the question. Why we are here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Godot to come. -Beckett

I'll try and attend. I know I'll need some motivation then.
I realized that I said I'd be gone for only two weeks...but I was gone for much longer.I hope to stay on this time. :)

JC (and all others who don't know what a word war is): It's where everyone starts writing at the same time and they write for a set amount of time (as outlined above for each separate round) then post how many words they managed. The person who wrote the most words wins.

Don't forget about the second mass word war tomorrow, everyone! And please note that I've edited my first post to move the start time back an hour so it starts at 8:00pm GMT now. See you all soon!

I am really excited about this, thank you for hosting it.

There was one thing of the schedule of it that threw me off.

Round ten: half an hour: 13:00pm

Shouldn't that be 1:00am? Or am I just totally lost?

Cal.
Fraser: Stop stealing the blanket.
[Diefenbaker whines]
Fraser: You're an Arctic Wolf, for God's sake.
(Due South)

Hatter: Do I need a reason to help a pretty girl in a very wet dress? (Alice)

Got YWS?
