Fun facts! Captain Andarian might know of Vaughn and Ryn might have heard of Maggie. He definitely knows about the Holmes family and what happened to them.
Question; how did they end up in Sarea?

Enspoilered below is some random tidbits on Sarea;
Spoiler! :
Random inns/taverns in Sarea: the misty octopus* the salty wolf inn* the wicked dragon dead seal tavern* drunken fiddle inn the ivory inn the dirty donkey the violent pea the iron hag* the brass monkey
Random nobles: Lord Hagre Ravoris
Random notes on Sarea: - Royal Guard, wears dark blue with gold/silver accesories (there's king's and a queen's guard; king's is gold, queen's is silver) - Saltiers are Sarea's City Guard--often called Saltiers bc of the wave on their uniforms (which are light blue with the creamy white wave on the left lapel of their jackets. they also have the usual stars on their shoulders (in bronze) signifing their rank (the more stars, the higher the rank and ropes signify a General)) - there are certains taverns both of the above steer clear of and the Octopus is one of them (others are iron hag, salty wolf and dead seal (they are marked by an * in the tavern/inn list above)) - Sarea has fighting pits, a tiny thieves guild (which it seems Maggie and Ryn are not part of) and an underground slavery ring which no one apparently does anything about. - Pirates frequent Sarea, but they rarely fly their "pirate" flags and instead have merchant or fishing ones up (pirate ships can be told apart from other vessels by their red or black sails, though, so this is a terrible attempt at subtly. no one seems to care about it, either) - A lot of Nobles have their hands in a lot of pies, but Lord Ravoris is particularly inclined to interests more likely found in Sarea's dark underground - The Octopus has really, really crappy quality ale AND it's watered down (Ryn hates it) - Veshor is an indepentant province of Melnar (if you're familiar with the witcher, think of it like YWU's toussiaint to YWU's nilfgaard) and long after Melnar conquered them and brought them into the fold, so to speak, a princess of Melnar married the Veshorian king and thus, the royal family is van Veshoria instead of van Melnaris
check back semi-frequently as i'll probs be adding more to it as we go

@Corvid a felloooow pirate! oooooooh (well, ex pirate XD)
how well know was Vaughn's former captain? Andarian might very well have known them and maybe Vaughn through them? Does Vaughn have any tell tale signs of them being a pirate? (like tattooos or something along those lines?)
Alsooo, @ScarlettFire what kinda things will happen to our characters because of the red moon? Like, examples of what could happen, because my mind is kinda drawing a blank.
