Is it too late to ask if I can make a new character out of one of my NPCs? I'm really interested in fleshing out Friday Jackson as a character, since I'm actually using her in another story I'm working on and I need to see how she'll fare in "real life" stories.
@RoyalHighness, I don't think that is really necessary; after all, Rowling employed an omniscient narrator and only ever wrote out of Harry's perspective, but that does not mean she could not describe and characterise Ron and Hermione, for example, sufficiently. Try doing the same.
Ways through which you can achieve this is by making Friday Nova's "Ron". They both have the same classes, after all, so then they can chat when the teacher is not looking and discuss work, other students, etc., as well as doing everything together and then sharing their thoughts concerning the matter.

Just as a note, @avalon, Kristof would never cheat, sabotage, or cut corners to win anything. He can be a slight jerk, but he has a certain sense of honor.
An angel, a knight, a man who will bring light to where there is only darkness, I am the Morning Star, the Bringer of Light, hail to me as I am King Lucifer!
@dragonthief1, did you know that in Greek mythology, Cerberus had a two-headed brother named Orthrus?

@Zontafer, @Wolfie36, @KatyaElefant, @FaerieQueen, @AfterTheStorm and @Wolfare1, if you don't want to write about the feast, you can write about the following morning's breakfast. (Just remember, I am teaching the sixth years Charms first period, so don't just skip to the classes.) They receive their mail that first morning, right?
Oh, and @Fade, I like your effective use of colloquialisms in Hagrid's speech, but don't omit letters in words which are already contractions or colloquialisms (don't = contraction, 'o'n't = ??; wanna = colloquialism, 'anna = ???) - it reads quite difficultly.
