Strawberry: on code and conlangs (it's a little abstract, but i was trying to personify a web page XD)

Vanilla: Even the moon is eclipsed by the earth's shadow (the title says it all xD) but a more specific set of lines:

Tes yeux sont ma lune.
¿Y quien necesita la tierra cuando tú estás aquí?

translated:
Your eyes are my moon.
And who needs the earth when you are here?

orrrr possibly this one: on code and conlangs
every day i send desperate thoughts into the universe,

The Neapolitan Games: WEEK THREE.. April 16-April 22

Strawberry Challenge

- Time to add a little extra kick to your poetry, and try out new skills! Use The Poetic Element: Paradox in your poem this week (between April 26-30) and post the link with a quote / explanation in this thread to claim the badge.

Paradox - is a poetic element, that refers to making a statement that is seemingly contradictory - by presenting two conflicting ideas together simultaneously (like peace and war) or linking two contradictory concepts together like an oxymoron of "awfully good," "deafening silence"... etc. A lot of times poems rely on making comparisons of similarity through metaphor - a paradox stretches the mind and your writing in a different way through contrast.

Vanilla Challenge

- Was your poem a "NaPo Classic"? If your poem used The Poetry Theme of... Underwater / Diving between April 16-22 you can claim this badge. Just link to the poem, and quote the line that you think follows that theme/topic to claim the badge.

Chocolate Challenge

- Time to go out and read some sweet sweet poetry! Find the NaPo poem among the other threads from this week that uses This NaPo Line: "all water looks shallow in the dark" posted between April 12-16 and PM the answer to @alliyah to claim this badge. Try not to use the "search forums" option to locate it.

Deadline for Week Three is April 22

If you win a challenge, in addition to earning a cool badge, you also can get 25 points! Any questions? Ask below!

Also please pull up a new spot for week two claiming just so I can keep track of everything more easily. Thank you so much for participating! :)

Strawberry
16| My Sour Happiness

You took all the oxygen
and left me on an unbreathable environment,
The last place I wished to be, Earth.
As you left for the habitable universe

Vanilla
17| Not My Time Yet

actually the entire poem is about underwater
I took a breath, bubbles escaping while
My lungs slowly filled with water
As I tried
to reach the surface again

Chocolate
Sent, but it was late...

Week Three

Strawberry Challenge - love is not caring ~ I think because love is considered something that is caring, “love is not caring” is a paradox??

Vanilla Challenge - oceanic paradise ~ The poem is about being underwater

Chocolate Challenge - Nope :(
The problem with quotes found on the internet is that they are often not true.
