Emile smiled brightly, tearing up a bit himself.

Janus grinned. “Get over here, Patt!!”

{Sorry, it keeps not giving me notifications that you've responded which is why it took me a few days.}

Patton smiled and moved towards them.

{It’s okay!}

And within a minute, they were all in a huge group hug.

Patton smiled. "I can't believe-- I don't-- how?"

Emile laughed. “I dunno!” he chirped. “But we’re here!”

Patron smiled. “I’m happy you are.”

“Trust me,” Remy said, “we are too.”

Emile chuckled. “Yeah!”

The four of them caught up for a while, telling stories and such.

"And then we found this warehouse," Patton finished. "And then you found this warehouse. And then we found each other."

“Exactly!” Emile spoke, as Janus nodded.

{Okay, should we switch over to the other 4? I don’t have any plans for them tho-}

{Yeah, we can switch, though I don't really have any plans either? No ideas are really coming to mind but we can just try to make it up as we go along if you'd like.}

{Well frick, I thought you’d have an idea. Oh well, I have an idea for Janus anyways}

{oh haha sorry. So what now?}

{I’ll just go through with that idea lol}

It was a few weeks after the reunion. Janus and Patton were out on a supply run. They had split up, yet agreed to stay in the same basic area so they wouldn’t loose each other. Well, Janus had gotten into a fight. And the thug he had been fighting had ripped out a clump of his scales. He now sobbed in an alleyway as the guy walked away, in so much pain.

Patton hadn’t found much, but something felt wrong. He decided he should try to find Janus again.

Patton wasn’t too far from the alleyway. Janus was muffling his cries, so no one would find him in his far-too vulnerable state. Well, maybe anyone who walked past, but that's besides the point.
