Yes, you heard me! You too can write an article for this up coming issue squills! Write an article on anything and PM it to me before 1 February. At the least make it 250 words, but 750 is a good range to shoot for.

Just be sure to put "Squills" in the subject box.

So, anyone want to see their name in print? I will love you forever!

Here are some Squills from past so you can have an idea of what things we might take:

Nov 2007
Sept 2007

If you would like to see any more, you can go here

Article Ideas:

Featured Poem
Featured Story
Interview a member
Current contests
Things to do on snow days that actually aren't a waste of time
How to manage writing and school
writing tips (of any kind)
Movie reviews
Book reviews
YWS rules of etiquettes (serious or mock)

If you have any other ideas, feel free to mention them here! But keep in mind, I may hold you to writing the article you think up. ^_~

I'll submit something. I'm an instructor, after all, so I might as well earn my purple font...

I need to do another Pirate of the Month segment.

I'm thinking Edward England-ish. xD

Everything is of use :)

For member interviews though, try to pick someone who is showing up a lot around the site, or maybe won the point contest several times, or someone from the staff, that was people know who it is. Thanks Jas!!

Interview Suzie Jas, she fits the very criteria she gave you (hint hint )

And I'd love to write an article but I'm going to have to think very hard about this.

I have already received a few articles but I would just like to remind everyone that if you are writing one I would like to receive it by Friday. Please get it into me before, or on that day! If you have said here or to me that you would like to write one, and I do not receive it, expect me to hunt you down. :)

Friday? Suicre. Claudette, would it be ok to interview you? If so, should I just email questions to you, or would you rather me to pm them? Also, are intervies for "squills" usually done in a questions, answers format, or like an article on the person with dialogue woven into them?

I was interviewed a few months ago, so it would only be fair for someone else to go. Yes, they're in question-answer format. Just put a short introduction at the beginning, and then go into the questions. ;-)
