Well the only thing I've ever written that I
actually take any amount of pride in is
something of a short story titled "Smother".
In my opinion it's quite good, and I am my
biggest critic. I'd like to post it I'm just slightly
nervous about having others read it and judge
or steal or misunderstand. Haha, and all the
rest of the possible outcomes other than success.
I know I'll have to get over that but I'd like to
know how one is to know their work is worth
showing to others.
The story is about a young woman recalling life
living in a very cramped apartment with her druggie
mother and the key points in her life. I left the
woman nameless for reasons quite obvious; I
simply couldn't think of the right name to describe
her. As she remembers all these terrible things I
felt inspired to write it is as a full book, seeing as
how it was meant to be a mere assignment for my
English class. I never did make it any longer then
some of 7 pages.
Leave some advice if you have any. It would be much
appreciated.
