-Title-
First issue, if anyone is reading this I would love to hear input on a title name. I'll mix them up but titles are the thing I'm sort of bad at coming up with. That and character/place names. So read the basic storyline and post a suggestion?
-Characters-
My favorite part. Here I'll list the major characters in the story. Briefly. When I have more time I'll come back and write a huge description of them.
Drew Chandler: A sixteen year old boy who's had a rough life and is moving to his new home with the sheriff in Ruby Springs, Nevada.
Zeke Jarrett: The main antagonist of the story who is out to end the son of an old enemy.
Jake McCoy: The kindhearted but no-nonsense sheriff of Ruby Springs, the one who takes Drew in.
Bill McCoy: Jake's rowdy son.
Sally McCoy: Jake's sensible and no-nonsense-at-all daughter.
Doc Carnegie: The town's sensible and sometimes sarcastic doctor.
Walter Pike Finnegan: The stuck up and slightly rich highbritches of the town and owner of the general store and bank.
Brett Chauncey: The paranoid deputy who "escorted" Drew from Cheyenne to Ruby Springs.
-Teaser Summary-
Drew Chandler has had a rough start to life. His mother left him and his father after finding that his father was formerly an outlaw, his father was killed by a rogue lawman, his foster parents and their son hated him, he ran wild on the streets of a crime-filled town, and he eventually landed himself in jail for trying to steal a horse.
It was time for a change. Not that Drew wanted (or thought he wanted) a change, in fact, he thought all he wanted was freedom and for everyone to leave him alone. But one person who heard about the sixteen-year-old boy with the questionable past decided to try and help him. Jake McCoy. Jake was the sheriff of a small ranching town in Nevada called Ruby Springs. He decided to let Drew come to Ruby Springs and try to help him make something of himself. Drew thought that was a terrible idea and fought him every step of the way. One comfort to Drew was his new-found friend, Ezekiel, an old friend of his pa whom he met on the train-ride to Elko. Inside the pages of this book, Drew will figure out that there is more to life than hate, anger, and pain, and that those things only succeed in creating a Monster.

So that's it? I guess I'll throw links here to stuff for my novel.
