Emma, Scottish slang is really hard for other people to understand, because, frankly, it's hard to see the origins. I mean, how the hell did we get the word "greet" from "cry"?

This is just a song folk sing in my local area. its just for a laugh so say what you will.
Everywhere we go
People always ask us
Who we are
And where do we come fae
And we tell them
Where fae Cultin
And if they cany hear us
We shout a little louder
Wae a CUL and a TIN
We'll go tae Drungan
And batter them!
Wae a baseball bat
And a snooker cue
Cuz we are the mental
CULTIN CREW!
Sorry for the scottish slang but thats how you sing it lol

If you cant understand the scottish languge you must be daft.
Well.. Okay you might not.. But sometimes the scottish slang makes it easier to sing. Go scotland! O.o
when i was in guides we had a similar song only it was the more
normal version ie. were from (insert town here) minus all the scottish
accent/dialect etc.
but yeh this song is great!
English translation for all interested:
Everywhere we go
People always ask us
Who we are
And where do we come from
And we tell them
We're from Cultin
And if they can't hear us
We shout a little louder
With a CUL and a TIN
We'll go to Drungan
And kick their ass
With a baseball bat
And a snooker cue
Because we are the mental
CULTIN CREW!
