Northern Lights (Haiku)

by backgroundbob

For those of you who don't know what a Haiku is, it's a form of Japanese poetry that has to be 5,7,5 syllables long in each of three lines respectively.

Northern Lights

Freeze my tongue, O night,
'till her razor'd burst of style:
transcendence, yet ice.

I really like haiku's...especially if they are pretty like this one. Well thought out as well, some haiku's you find are just jammed together so it fits..but it doesn't necessarily sound good. They can be tricky too, so i think you've done a real good job. I like the style of words used too..classic almost. Good one!

Cool... I like it. There's not much to comment about on a three line poem but it's good. :D
