Caspar swept Beverly into a kiss, the pipe organ music rising triumphantly as they embraced.

They admired each other since school, and finally, they would be together. Caspar wanted nothing more than to bring Beverly all the joy in the world, for her love had made all of the paint-splattered feelings of his birthday to him, and in her embrace, he knew that she felt the same way about him.

But hands down, she was better than any birthday gift in the world.
