This was a really, really nice poem! I honestly have nothing to pinpoint or nitpick here, it's just great!
Let me delve into the topic here for a bit and be all philosophical and stuff. God is this so relatable. We look in the mirror and usually we see not the truth. Usually our perception of beauty and our perception of ourselves is what we see. This is why the most prettiest person in the world can be unhappy with their appearance, because their perception of beauty does not match what they themselves are. Beauty is very subjective in a way. That's what I feel this poem conveys, and its faithful advice of doing away with these perceptions and being happy with who we are in truth.
That advice is advice I myself need to work on. I have the opposite problem, I look in the mirror and think to myself "god I'm ugly!"
Keep up the good work!
