Welcome in the nest of local murder of crows packed in one chaotic person!

Crows are cool and that's why in this first sentence, which was probably meant as an introduction, I'll just say this. Crows are really super cool.

Okay, the sudden flight of thought (this happens to me a lot! Hooray! Another unnecessary fact!) is over, let's fly to the topic!

And no, this was definitely not the last crow-related bad pun you'll hear here.

The topic. Uhm. My train of thinking is riding somewhere else right now…oh yeah, so: in this (for now, and probably not for long) little forum, I'm going to be talking A LOT about my billions of WIPs and original characters, worldbuilding, and where-here, I definitely can't wait to share little snippets!

* Behind the Ocean - more dystoptic-like high fantasy. Islands and prophecies and families and adventures and lot of worldbuilding notes

* Paranormals - very different look at vampires in fantasy, queer and a bit of parody to common teen fantasy clichès. Whole idea began here: The Paranormals by AnotherCrowInRow) but it did grow since I chaotically wrote it down in that long-forgotten forum thread.

* DragonridersWIP - fantasy. Lot of dragons. Lot of humor. Lot of deadly adventures and best friends being chaotic duo.

* UndergroundWIP - dystoptic. If I start to ramble about this story, I would not be able to stop fir next ten months so… Ask at your own risk.

Caw, caw random person reading this! What is going on? Well, I am going to introduce you to some of my writing projects, so yay! Claimer: this will be pure and bit spoilerish chaos. Lot of my rambling about WIPs. Lot of me loosing threats of thoughts.
And now, let´s go to the business.
Spoiler! :
TO DEFEAT THE HUNS!

Uh, yeah. So. Caw, caw, caw, honk, honk I was wrong because right now, I am going to talk a lot about ONE of my projects. What a liar, isn´t I? So.

Clockwheel Cities Series

Image

I won't tell you what awaits, but I will tell you: this world is not an exact copy of ours. Some things happened earlier. Some things happened later. Some things did not happened at all and a few things happened that you have no way of remembering from history lessons.

...as the first paragraph of Clockwheels Cities - Chapter 1: It All Starts in Paris says! And yeah, it fits pretty much since this project is set in alternative timeline. It´s also a reason I am not really sure if "steampunk" is right term, since steampunk as a subgenre is set in some time period...but otherwise, steampunk is pretty great summary. We have lot of mechanics, lot of clocks, lots of steam and lots of murders...
Wait, what? What murders? You did not heard about the murders. No one heard about the murders. Those mysterious murders are under supervision of Order of Mechanics´s Central Branch, London.

However, our story begins with Deinne Leuvre, a young mechanic determined to make her mark (and not let her pessimism and cynicism get her down) in the second capital of mechanics. Her current goal in life is to rummage through unfinished projects in her workshop and convince her former professor of mechanics to finally write her the damn letter of recommendation needed to start her own full-fledged workshop... but her best friend and colleague Alexej spoils her with a letter from London.

Because as it turns out, London's mechanics have a problem that only a small, seamless, non-chaotic team can solve... and Deinne is definitely not about to tell them that she and Alexei, with access to magic, mechanics, and caffeine, are anything but what the Order of Mechanics needs. After all, solving one mystery should not be that hard, right? Right?
