The last time I shared where YWSers came from was way back in January 2018:
Where did YWSers come from in 2017?

A lot has changed since then! In particular, the geographic diversity of the site has grown tremendously. Once a bastion of indifference toward our fair site, South America now accounts for 5.7% of all visits. That may not sound like a lot, but consider that in 2017, South America made up less than 1%! Moreover, Brazil is now a top 10 country for the site. Another surprising statistic for me is that the United States now makes up less than half of all visits to YWS! There was a time when it accounted for over 80%, so that's quite a change.

Top 10 Countries
1. United States - 48.38% of site visits
2. United Kingdom - 7.05%
3. Canada -5.15%
4. India - 4.7%
5. Philippines - 4.61%
6. Australia - 3.86%
7. Germany - 3.25%
8. Brazil - 2.92%
9. South Africa - 1.74%
10. France - 0.85%

Top 10 Cities
1. New York City, NY, USA
2. Houston, TX, USA
3. London, UK
4. Ashburn, VA, USA
5. Berlin, Germany
6. Las Vegas, NV, USA
7. Washington, D.C., USA
8. Sydney, NSW, AU
9. Sao Paulo, Brazil
10. Chicago, IL, USA

On a quick sidenote, I suspect that the number 4 city, Ashburn, may be a mistake. Ashburn is a suburb of Washington, DC, but it's also home to some very large data centers, which tend to host a significant amount of bot traffic. So Ashburn might be showing up just because of bots.

I feel like I can pick out 2 spots on the map that are probably just from me (my home and my parents' house in another state).
These are always super fun to look at!
