It's been a hot second since there was a post here, so I thought I'd give this roleplay a nudge! If there's no objections to it, I'll throw up a post after someone else goes and timeskip us to the library.
Two questions, would anyone have insisted on Bobby changing because he may look human (being a completely non-magical human) but he also looks a mess. Everything he's wearing is patched and dirty and stained. He'd refuse, I just wanna know if that's a past thing to reference in my post.
Second question, Bobby is gonna go straight for the computers and start looking for hidden forums where terms like 'Owls' 'The Owls' and other more creative variations i can't think of rn might have been mentioned. Like, on the kinds of forums that would be password protected or on the dark web, or under other kinds of protection. He'd also look at some demon-summoning stuff to see if he can find anything similar to what they saw in the warehouse.
Dresden might have tried getting him to change, but, like you said—Bobby would have kept turning the clothes. I think Dresden probably would have worded it more as trying to give the clothes as a gift, too, if that's something you'd reference in the post!

and a kid fucking around on dark web forums is probably not any bat's top priority at any given moment, at least not right away. Maybe if they're actively dealing with the owls it would give them a ping, but i doubt very much it would make the top of the pile, at least not right away.
