Hey, so I've been thinking more about how Cole would come back and I had a couple ideas. Firstly, what if instead of him being stuck as a monkey upon his return, we went the other way with it? What if he comes back human, having lost his ability to morph entirely? What if the nanobots only repaired his human genes and let his animal genes deteriorate?
Secondly, what if after they destroy the lab where they find the new Animorphers, the rebels find three more labs in the early stages of development and they have to go destroy those too, but they find Cole at one of them either in a coma or having recently come to? They could then bring him back to the rebel base and confirm that it's him and have the Animorphers reunite with him.

Ooooh, that's good. It also makes a lot more sense for him to stuck as a human, since that's his original form. I also like the idea with the other labs.

Hmm... I'm not sure. It might depend on the circumstance and timing. At first, he'd probably just want to get back on his feet and get his life back together. If he was given the opportunity to get his powers back, he'd probably take it. But it would probably be a while before he would seek out a way to get them back on his own.

So based on that, those who who haven't posted yet (excluding Riley) are: Neon, Michael, Dan, Charlotte, Emma and Gwen. I could totally see a post with Emma worrying over Riley, or Michael comforting Charlotte, or Dan comforting Emma, or Emma going to Gwen for support. I could post for Gwen, but given how much I've posted recently, I figured I would skip her. I don't really care either way.
Anyway, so the main things that still need to happen are: switching out Riley's blood, the Animorphers being approached by the government, and Riley waking up.
ADDITION: Maybe Riley going to the hospital sort of puts the Animorphers on the map, making it easier for both the government and the Japanese to find them. The Japanese could have followed Cole and Riley there. Maybe the Japanese could dress up as fake doctors and start going after the Animorphers who are waiting in the hospital, but then the government agents get there and take out the Japanese, saving them. That could be a good way to get them to trust the government right off the bat, and be less random than them just randomly walking up to them and being like "hey, we're the government." Anyway, just throwing ideas around.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense for the Animorphers to have a good reason like that to trust the government.

I messaged Hazel and she says she's been really busy. She told me she'd hopefully get to start it soon, but I don't know how soon soon is. I hope you don't mind me backseat managing Lefty, and if you do feel free to tell me to step off, but it might be smartest to have a backup poster ready in case soon becomes awhile. @LordZeus, I don't think Dan has posted yet this round (And I want to see a cute ship moment!) I could also post in a pinch and try to tie everything together, but I may need a bit of help knowing how to clean up loose ends.
