Bland personalities, necrophilia, and pedophilia seem to be popular.

Joking aside. Romance is pretty easy, get two personalities people can easily put themselves in the mindset of, with a set of romantic tropes that people often go through so those readers would emphasize with the characters, Vala, the rest all depends on you.
Self quoting is the key to sounding wise and all knowing.
