A Workshop on Showing vs Telling in Poetry

This workshop is part of…
Image

@Clarity will be running a workshop focussed around Showing vs Telling.

We’ll be discussing which works better in different scenarios, and of course we’ll be throwing in a couple of activities to get the creativity flowing.

From colour connotations, to similes and metaphors, we’ll go through plenty to give you advice on what kind of imagery you could use, and when it can be useful to plainly state what’s going on.

I’ll be running two slots:

to

and

to

(date and time automatically adjusted to your local timezone)

Please register your interest in this workshop by commenting in this thread with the slot you wish to attend!

Happy Spooktober,
Clary

I'm interested. Though both slots are terribly timed for me, I'll probably do the first one

@Firerose have you got a time slot you'd prefer? Just so I can get an idea of numbers :)

@Traves is there a particular time that works better for you? If it gained enough interest then I'd consider changing one of the times as long as it fits in reasonably for me to be able to do them! :)

I've sent you a PM, but that's probably a bit too late for me.

@Firerose - timezone conversions confuse me XD
I mean does Slot 1 or Slot 2 that I put in the original comment work better for you? The times on there automatically adjust to your time zone :)
