I don't suppose we can be fans of our own works, can we? My vote goes to Legacy of Krazatan by Tylor Kranyak, which is me by the way.

I must be honest! Deep breaths, deep breaths.

Okay. I never read any of those books.

This is old, but I can't be tamed.

While Harry Potter and LOTR are <3 worthy, I've never loved a series more than the Inheritance Cycle. It's a happy medium for me- high literary merit but without an older tone that's a bit more difficult to decipher. Also, I can reread each of the books a bazillion times without ever being bored and I just love 'em so much.

Also, I am disappointed by the lack of other John Green books! TFiOS is the only one I haven't read yet, but Looking for Alaska made my heart sing and cry and stuff.

I love Harry Potter, LOTR, Hunger Games and Percy Jackson. The Fault in Our Stars made me cry my eyes out and I could not read to the end.

I agree that it has been a crime that The Chronicles of Narnia and The Saga of Darren Shan are not part of this poll. :(
You cannot list every series but they are still greats.
Darran Shan will stay with me for a long time. <3

Yeah. I watched the movie before I read the books (simply because I was already busy with another series) and loved the movie. I read the books and then watched the movie the second time. It was awful.

I love how no one's ever noticed that Eragon is 60% Belgariad, 20% Anne McCaffrey, and 20% LOTR. Even the gedway ignasia was stolen .

No one except everyone who was on YWS circa 2005. I felt so stupid for liking them back then. Those books were trashed constantly.
