What about Disney, classic literature, The Giver Quartet, The Princess Bride, Attack on Titan, or The Chronicles of Narnia?

Dr Who should be the winner. I know it's not the most popular but it's my fandom.

I haven't read the GoT books but I plan to maybe when I'm less busy. I'm a hardcore fan of the TV show.

I like many, many different books, and a good bit pf them were listed, but nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can replace a classic such as Lord Of The Rings.

Read or watched most of those. The one I like the most is the HP one, because it is the most diverse one, one with the most possibilities. Twilight - great concept, poor execution. Hunger Games (I will sound like an annoying hipster right now and I know it) - far superior version in Battle Royale, that movie should get more attention. Percy Jackson - will shut up, since I only watched the movie and well...yeah it was bad. Heard that the books are better, though. Don't know who Belgariad is, so - is he good ? Never seen (or read) GoT, but all of my friends love it, so I know a couple of things.
Eragon - read only the first two books, can't judge further.
Fault in our stars - liked Paper Towns more. The ending was tragic though, can't say anything against that.

Also - where are the TV and movie fandoms ? Where is OuaT, SuperWhoLock or the Star Trek fandom ? Same goes for movie fandoms - Star Wars should get a spot.

Well, that's an understatement @shima. Percy Jackson was possibly the worst translation from book to movie
Spoiler! :
excluding movies like Spiderwick Chronicles that put an entire series into a movie
. The books were infinitely better. The movies were pond scum.

Ugh, you made it so difficult for me to choose! My top three books were on there! Harry Potter, Eragon, and Hunger games! In the end, I had to choose Harry Potter, I'm a Potterhead through and through.
