I write to relieve stress. It helps me express myself without harming others. I just do it for fun, nothing serious.

I chose other--- I write for other purposes. Mainly, to challenge others to think and to influence them to question what they believe.

Because whatever is happening in my mind has to end up on paper/screen somehow. I don't know of another way of expressing my imagination! I love doing it, it makes me feel good, so why not? :D

I chose other because I write to relieve stress and anger. Honestly, if not for writing, I would probably hurt someone. Not intentionally, of course, but still.

I write when I actually want to write. When I'm bored or when I'm extremely depressed or a really important message I learned from my life hits me, I write.

I never write for fun. I can't. It'll ruin all my writing that I've did till now. Funny. XPP
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.

Write as expression, as an art. Just a way of archiving turbulent thoughts or some creative spurts of inspiration. It is fun and enjoyable to do so, and I've done it enough to feel like I'm decent. In these ways, I write for myself.

Now, if something I can create also evokes inspiration in others - or even just simple conversation, then it's so much more gratifying and meaningful to me, in the way that human beings in general seem to intrinsically seek for acceptance/acknowledgement, so it is so. That my ideas - my consiousness - the things in my head that make me ME can affect someone else... and that I can share this. This is the ultimate validation for me. So in this way, I write for others.

I write for the fun of it. It's what I love. I write to liberate the burdens and to express my emotions, since I can't show them in real life because it always comes out wrong. And I write for the people, so they can feel that they're not the only one's out there dealing with the complications life sometimes bring. That is why I write.

I write because I want to-. I write because it is my safe place where I can be vulnerable and still be safe. I write to entertain others. I write because I can express my self. I write because I love to.
elysian: (adj.) beautiful or creative; divinely inspired; peaceful and perfect.

To feel in control as pen contacts empty paper,
Shaping unreality, living fantasy, my true nature,
To speak my wordless feelings, to be a creator,
A cry through the void in search of my savior.

This is why I write.
