...

I'll excuse the fact that you haven't voted Walk the Line because you're all youngun's, musically speaking.

AND YOU'RE ALL SINNERS.

I voted Walk the Line, but besides that Kung Fu Hustle was an excellent film.

It was either Narnia or other... Howl should have been on there, animated or no.

But the others? Not that I've seen all of them. Brokeback - gay sheepherders aside - was just a bluntly stupid film. Good acting there, I suppose...and then nil.

I can see why this is the YOUNG Writers Socioety. The votes reflect it

I'm gonna have to agree with Dono on that one... Narnia? While fun to watch... it was nothing near best.
Out of the movies I've seen I say this:
Harry Potter was good, but the book was soooo much longer and the movie seemed really rushed, which is how I see all the HP movies. I still like 'em though.
Crash was great. Very thought provoking... not that I'm a big fan of thinking.
Revenge of the Sith was great. Very "emotional rollercoaster" ... HE KILLED THE CHILDREN!!!
Kung Fu Hustle... tehehe what a fun movie. It took me twice to watch it... I don't like reading...

And I Sooooo can't wait to see Brokeback Mt and Walk the line... and every other movie ever filmed... I like movies.

But I'm crazy, don't mind me.
Plan B is always "Die Trying."

Brokeback Mountain was probably the BEST movie I have ever seen in my life, as was Crash. If you haven't seen Crash, get out there and see it! Both are phenominal movies.

My favorite was Howl's moving castle. I don't know how many times I went and saw it. There were lots of people that wanted to go and I saw it with all of them. I forget what other films I saw last year. I went to see Lassie. And was the only person there.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

Is this not a blatant example of how sheeny polish can drive our forms of entertainment today, as opposed to true, rich content and ideal?

I dunno, just a thought. Maybe I'm just mad because nobody voted for my movie choice. But I'm almost positive that 'revenge of the sith' was, if not, at face value, entertaining, absolute crap underneath it all.

This saddens me.
Words are spilling out like endless rain into a paper cup, they slither while they pass. They slip away across the universe... Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting thorough my open mind possessing and caressing me..

I'm not going to vote until I see Munich and Walk the Line, because the only others I've seen are the new Harry Potter and Narnia, lol. And while both were great, I have a feeling there are better movies up there.

As for Brokeback Mountain, I heard that the acting was great, but that the plot was pretty sad. Plus, in two or three reviews I read, they said that Texans were presented as this big bunch of hicks, and that drives me nuts.

I am the only person I know who thought Narnia sucked out loud. I mean it was a kid movie. I actually liked Harry Potter more than Star Wars but I am a timeless Star Wars fan and I saw the movie six times (in theater) and cried every time. (hey, I can understand that he HAD to go to the dark side, but honestly, did they have to show us the whole horrible mortification? they set his HAIR on fire! That's just evil!)

anyway...

No offense, but I think that's the worst reason for saying a movie sucked. It's also insulting to the children's writer, saying that they do not write quality work.
