I listen to a bit of everything: rock, britpop, soul, blues, jazz, music from musicals, hip hop, emo - yes even regular pop (note: I'm not talking the Cheeky Girls here, I'm talking Kelly Clarkson, or the Sugababes, Madonna, or even Will Young)....lol - please just let me say a little bit of mindless crap - ie: pop - is good for the soul! But I love Nirvana, The Dandy Warhols, The Verve, Guns and Roses, AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Undertones, The Gorrilaz, Joss Stone, The Killers, Greenday, Muse, The Foo's, Red Hot Chillis....I could go on for bloomin' hours...but I won't...

Wow, that's nearly exactly me! Although my absolute favourite is Techno just because I can dance to it :) But I also like a bit of rock and pop and metal and emo and country... Joss Stone, Amerie, Beyonce, SlipKnot, Black Eyed Peas, AD/DC, everyone and everything- except perhaps Marilyn Manson :P

Jack: Does the Clash count as old punk?

I listen to soooo much old school rock...Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Queen...all the good stuff.
when there's nowhere to go, it's time to grow up.

Morgan, The Clash are the embodiment of old punk.

It could be argued that punk from that time was the only real punk that existed.

Metal for me. Love it. :)

As a second choice, by far Rock. Actually, Rock and Metal are neck and neck for me. But I enjoy metal a smidge more because it has so many genres, everyone can find something they like. :D
The sadness drains through me rather than skating over my skin. It travels through every cell to reach the ground. I filter it yet strangely enough, I keep what was pure and it is the dirt that leaves.

I will listen to almost anything, but my all time favorites are punk, rock/pop, and metal. I love Simple Plan, Green Day, Nickleback, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Weezer, and all the millions of other great ones. If I try to list them all I will most likely forget someone so that is all I will list.

Norah Jones? Snore! In fact, she's on the same level as Katie Melula (There are 10 million bicycles in Bejing?...I mean, what?! How is that a good song??!).
Maybe not quite as bad

Hard Rock/Old Rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Queen, AC/DC, Guns and Roses).

And I've gotten into Steppenwolf lately.
