I just put the writing itself. I mean, being able to put down what you want is just a thrill. No body knows how it will turn out, and I bet even you don't when you first start writing a new piece, but that's part of the excitment.

The unknown and not knowing until your finished how it will be.

However, I've been unlucky enough to not finish anything but short stories, but I'm working towards my goal of finishing my first full-sized book :D When that happens, I can hopefully feel the accomplishment of saying "The End"
"Woe to the man whose heart has not learned while young to hope, to love—and to put his trust in life."
~ Joseph Conrad

"Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life."
~ Red Auerbach

I chose "the actual writing." Since I write poetry and short stories, it's the subtleties of the language itself that appeal to me the most- just the satisfaction of writing powerful phrase or a really vivid description or capturing a moment just right.

Finishing, absuloutely. There's no other satisfaction quite so fulfilling as when you type the final period in the final sentence. There's just accomplishement and release.

WHOOSH! I'M DONE!

I chose everything for this one. Everything about writing is so much fun that its hard to just contain the answer to just "creating characters" or "developing the plot". Usually, the plot I initially make up changes anyway. And the characters are no longer "themselves" as they were in the beginning... :D

Writing is the best. Just writing and writing. The thrill of it is indescribable. :D

I like the actual writing itself. I life manipulating the words to change the mood of the story, and make the readers care about my characters and what's going to happen to them. I've never been any good at developing my characters or creating storylines and plots =]

What about getting the story actually published?

Creating characters, definitely. And also ending the story because that means i never have to worry about the finish ever again.

Characters won out because ending means editing and i hate editing.
Writing gives my life purpose

Defenitly creating characters. I love it so much, I often procrastinate on developing characters, and then forget to write my story!

Creating characters is awesome

i just love how to make them think of their own, act of their own and try to make them like real people.

plus, i got to judge what their life will be...

I absolutely adore creating characters because I love including the character development as the story progresses. I just love deciding what they where and their physical appearance just as much as the personality part. My favourite personality would have to be the arrogant selfish people. I really do enjoy writing about them.
