In anticipation for NaPo, Jam Jars have been popping up all over the people tab with a series of fun poetry hashtags to participate in (NaPoGoals, WhyNaPo, AlphabetAnswers). April is National Poetry Writing Month on YWS and we get pretty excited about it! So what are you looking forward to? If it's something different than the options above be sure to comment!

If you haven't heard of National Poetry Month (NaPo) it's a celebration of all things poetry - users typically create a poetry thread in the NaPoWriMo Forum (near the bottom of the Forum Page in the Special Event Section. The traditional challenge is to write 30 poems, one for every day of April, but you can also earn a badge for completing just 5 poems or for commenting on the poetry threads. There will poetry jams and activities throughout the month so watch out for those jam jars! If you need more information about NaPo or have any questions check out the NaPo Information Station. And if you plan on participating be sure to make a thread!

Also in April for the prose-inclined writers we have a round of Camp NaNo starting up! More information can be found in the Camp NaNo Information Post and you can watch out for more information throughout the month.

Looking forward to something else delightful in April? A new review goal? A writing milestone? Feel free to share!
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

everyone asks "who is napo" but not "how is napo"
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I may have created my own type of poem for it as well... @AmostImmortal (”Negative”? ”Something” Aliquid)

Why can't I put the entire Bee Movie in the quote generator? Would you prefer if I put in the Shrek script instead?
