I've never done anything Harry Potter related, but a couple of friends unanimously agreed I was Slythrin so I took like two different quizzes and they were right. All the results I've read for it seem pretty accurate too. I wasnt sure how to feel about it cause I thought Slythrins were the sucky jerks, but I know there's that cute blonde dude in there too so I was like, "I guess this is alright." π
I think I'm pretty solidly a Ravenclaw, based on quizzes and what other people have said about me! That being said, when it comes to interpersonal relationships I think I have a strong thread of Hufflepuff running through me.
One of my favorite ways I've seen to think about the four houses comes from here. I really like how it gets at both deeper motivations and approaches to problem solving.
Based on the framework from the link, I'm a Ravenclaw Primary. It took me a while to be sure of the Ravenclaw Primary because I do strongly trust and follow my gut on what is right, which sounds like Gryffindor. But I still have a very definite system, and I spend a lot of time analyzing that system, which is much more Ravenclaw.
I'm not sure if I'm a Ravenclaw Secondary or a Hufflepuff secondary, as I definitely spend a lot of time thinking ahead and planning things, but I also do my best work when I'm able to establish a long, consistent run of working hard at something.
Of course, this definitely not the only way to look at House sorting, but it's what I like to think about.
We're all stories in the end.
I think of you as a fairy with a green dress and a flower crown and stuff. -EternalRain
I think you, @Deanie and I are like the Three Book Nerd Musketeers of YWS. -bluewaterlily
Huffleclaw, Ravenpuff, whatever. I like the name Ravenpuff better, even though I'm more nice than I am smart (not a compliment to myself, trust me), so I usually go with that.
The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.
