From a lazy walk through the park to listening to the cannon fire at the climax of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, what is it that inspires you to write? This month, the discussion is about muses.

Let's talk about that!
I am a forest fire and an ocean, and I will burn you just as much
as I will drown everything you have inside.

I think that inspires me the most are the experiences in life and the different people I meet and how they make me feel.

Definitely reading, especially books I enjoy! I strongly believe that reading the books you love and unfamiliar types of books will definitely help you improve your writing. Sometimes while reading I can learn something useful from the author's writing style or plot points or characterization. Or I can be reminded of why writing matters for me: to spin a story I want to tell.

It's such a hard choice between music and reading for me, but in the end I went with music because it inspires me pretty much anytime.
We're all stories in the end.

I think of you as a fairy with a green dress and a flower crown and stuff.

I can't choose! Nature, music, books... all huge inspirations!

If we're talking about inspiration for ideas, books probably are the most significant because that's where I get so many tidbits that contribute to my plots and characters. But if we're talking about something that inspires me in the way that it fills me up with joy and a want to create, all three do that!
John 14:27:
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.

You don't know how much being happy can make you write.
It just flows.
You cannot put that down everything you feel when you're sad.
Its just too much.
But when you're in love, everything is poetry.
Its just there!
