National Novel Writing Month 2014 is fast approaching, and it's time for the traditional poll of this time of the year! What will you do?

Tenth time veteran here. I don't need a reason to do it anymore, I need a reason to not do it, and so far none has been sufficient to kerb my addiction.

I did it. It was soooooo rough. I don't know if I'll ever do it again. But I encourage everyone to try it once! It was only rough because I was still in high school when I did it, and I had a lot of homework.

Hey Phoebe, the goal of Nanowrimo is to write 50,000 words of a new novel in November, but you're welcome to adapt it to meet your own writing needs. Some people do less words, or continue with a project they already have, or write short stories etc... I like it because it gives me motivation to get things done, and it's easy to get caught up the craziness of it, especially if you belong to the facebook group.

Here's the link again if you want to check it out xD.

Where's the "I'd like to, but I don't have the attention span, imagination, or dedication to do so" choice?

I am excited to do this for the first time!
I am not addicted to reading, I can quit as soon as I finish one more chapter.
