I'm kind of inthe same boat as magpie... I've got an Android, but I don't use it as much as I could. (I have to say that 2048 is brilliant when waiting). They are great when you're travelling though.
Although, these days, my ideal future gadgetry would be a basic non-touch button-y phone (like good ol' Nokia) and a small tablet. I like the ability to see emails/calendar schedules/news and general internetsy things for which I'd rather not use the phone. Totes dependent on future financial situation

No, but I don't want one. I have an iPad, which does all the things I would want to do anyways. I don't have a phone at all. Should I select, the one that says "what's a phone?"
I have two phones..... One's my "dumb phone" that only does talk and text. And minor useful functions. But no camera. It's the one with legitimate service. The other's my smartphone. Android 2.3 something...And I call it my Google Voice phone, because it can call and text for free, but only if I'm connected to wifi. (And it hates the uni wifi passionately.) So it's pretty much my Kindle/camera. Kindles are great for long lunch lines.
I can't answer this since I don't have a smartphone, and I don't want one. It's just a useless hunk of plastic that runs out of battery too fast. I've got a regular cell phone, and it works just fine.
My life was described in the Halo 3 Machinima, Flag Campers: "The last two hours of travel are confined to a small, hilly area. And it's all squiggly..."
