National Poetry Month (aka NaPo) celebrates all things ~poetry~ and is starting April 1st! There are many ways to participate. :) As we get ready for April, what are you most looking forward to? Choose a poll option, or comment below.

If you have any questions about what National Poetry Month is or how to participate, check out the 2021 Information Center or leave a question below!

And if you're planning on participating in writing poetry during NaPo, consider making a thread for your poetry in the NaPoWriMo Forums during March to get ready!
you should know i am a time traveler &
there is no season as achingly temporary as now
but i have promised to return

My favourite part is definitely coming up with a title for my thread. C: Seeing everyone else's titles always gets me in the mood- and then I get roped into doing it because I want to make a awesome thread title >.>

Though my close second is that feeling of doing something big with loads of people. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I should’ve chose two — make my thread aesthetically pleasing and working on new styles/forms as I’d like to work on both my writing skills and my artistic skills by editing all of my poems into some kind of mild art work. Or have something about them, with a picture or drawing by the side, or color, or a structural aspect to the poem, something in a general sense <.<

novel: the clocktower (camp nano apr 24)
poetry: the beauty of the untold (napo 2024)

I'm pretty excited for everything! After doing NaPo the past two years and not writing as much poetry lately, I really want to try experimenting with my style. But I also love writing thirty poems in a single month, as well as checking out other people's poems. I can't wait to see how this NaPo goes. <3

(I may or may not have tried clicking every single option on the homepage, only to realize that I had to pick two. >>)
