Ok, so I have to write a report of a short story under the theme of 'the search for truth'.

I have been looking at Edgar Allan Poe works but I don't really have the time to read all of his works in order to find the most appropriate one.

This is where YWS comes in!!

I would just like to know if anyone could tell me of a short story by him or another well known author which is about truth, the search for truth or the revealing of truth, whether for the characters or the reader.

Thank you for any help you can give!!
