Right. For my English Language coursework next year I'm studying English Acquisition in Native German Speakers, fun, I know. I can get recordings of germans speaking english, that's all sorted, but I really need to find theories to look at, and infomation on the back-ground of the two languages and hw they are linked, and such.
The big problem I have is that the sources I use should be English themselves, but these tend to focus on German acquisition in Englsih students, which is useless really. The other big thing that comes up while I'm searching is university course infomation, which I can't really use either.
I have a few sources I can use, but I really need some more, does anyone know of anything, or is this just too obscure?
EDIT: General theories on second lanugaue acquisition would be more than helpful too.
