Some of you might know that I'm bilingual. Others may have just learnt it in that statement. However you learned it, you're probably wondering why I'm going on about it. Weeell, I'm giving myself up for accurate French translations for whomever needs them! (Because y'all have some syntax problems sometimes, and I feel like helping!)

So, I don't have any specific stuff I want to translate, but French is such a beautiful language.

You know how some tv shows and movies use foreign words so they can get away with putting curses in?

I don't want those >.< But do you know of any cool words that can be used as pet names? Like how we have 'sweetheart' and 'dear'?

Cherie is a good one, that's dear. Mon Coeur is the equivalent of sweetheart. I have nicknames that I give to my friends, like choupette... they all have c's...*just notices*

What does Choupette translate to roughly?

Umm, it really is very much an endearment... Maybe cutie. (Because it comes from 'chou', which means cute, sorta)

Chou means cute but also cabbage. I know weird right.
Anyhow I'm fluent in Quebec french which is a basically a worse version of french with weird slang. for example J'suis soif comme une vache I'm as thirsty as a cow. So if you want nice french you should consult Auxiira, however I'm free if you want weird slang that doesn't make sense. Hope I can help.

The proper phrase is: "Bienvenu/e (if the person coming home is a girl) à la maison." (not many people say it nowadays, preferring "Salut" which is 'hi', but then your choice!)

That's phonetic, so I'll walk you through it. xD

K- the first sound of "car"
œ- You know the "eh" sound? Round your lips while making it
ʀ- This is a rolled R at the back of your throat. It's extremely rare in English (only in select dialects) but is really common in French.
