Could anyone give me a good link for maybe a scientific study on how mind reading could be realistically achieved by beings? Im writing a story with mind reading potentially in it and I want it to be as scientifically accurate as possible. Im having trouble finding any on my own.

You should try looking up this one concept a professor of mine told.

'Brain waves are electrochemical signals, so if there is a receiver of sorts that can read this signal, then one can read minds.'
This is like how the receiver of your radio knows which frequency to select, if there was a way of a person's brain selecting the frequency of brain waves, and is able to decipher them, then it would be mind reading. Think of it as analogous to speech and hearing where unless your ear gets the info and is able to decipher, it will end up as a bunch of garbled sounds.

Also you could include a ganzfeld cocoon, which is basically a test which cuts off your senses. look it up.

Also you could include crystals, they apparently can store and/or enhance physic energy.

But defintly research brain waves, there are four different brain waves; Beta, Alpha,Theta and Delta.
But you will wanting to focus on Alpha, where the physic abilities are found.
