I would like to write something on the English countryside but am really confused. Jerome.K.Jerome's Three Men on a Boat has left me quite puzzled about the rivers of England. I'm not talking about the geography. The author writes that a man could walk in a river and had to do it in single file. Are the riveres so narrow?
Im yet to see any of these tiny rivers, maybe he was talking about crossing them, that i have heard you do single file but other than that im at a loss
