Samuri and Spartans...

I was wondering if the Spartans and the Samurai were in the same time period. Because if they existed around the same time, although hundreds of miles apart, it would have been possible for them to meet, right?

No. The Samuri were in the 1500-1800s (A.D.) in Japan, maybe a bit later; the Spartans were in Ancient Greece, in B.C. times.
