Heyo, it's manilla. Over the years, I've played a decent amount of sports, some of which are listed above. The starred sports are the once I can answer the best, but I'll definitely take your questions about the last three.

Give me your questions :)

Do you know much about swimming in lakes and open water? I'm wondering about issues with prolonged or repeated exposure, like getting salt water in your eyes or up your nose on a regular basis. Are any common kinds of ailments that you can get from regular contact with contaminated or open water?

ohmygod sorry for thelatereply.

I've swam in lakes during the summer; they can be quite cold! The waves can knock you around if they're strong enough, which means you can't swim on some days.

If you don't swim with goggles on, you can get salt in your eyes if you're not careful. You can also get cuts from sand or small rocks scraping you. And yes, getting water up your nose burns. And feels uncomfortable.

I'm not sure what you mean by contaminated water - You don't swim in that, I'm assuming. I hope this helps a bit.

This looks like a really bad episode of Green Acres.
