Hi! Are there any good guides for creativity and writing? I was just curious to find some inspiration or insight. I'm not looking for style guides or academic writing, but more for fiction.
Of the ones mentioned here, I would definitely recommend Stephen King's 'On Writing'. It's an interesting read, and it's also considered to be among the best books on writing itself.

Look up The Idiot's Guide to Writing a Novel by Tom Monteleon ( that's probably not how you spell his name but Google should figure it out ). That's of course if you want some awesome tips on how to write a novel... Plus Tom writes a real page turner. I found it really helpful anyway, and I quite often look up things in there when I'm starting to doubt myself.
