A Double-Trouble Writing Huddle Workshop

Brought to you by the Storybook Crew!

Ahoy, mateys!

The Storybook Crew loves running workshops that show you how to man a ship of your own, and this time we've decided to show you how to run a type of ship you might not have heard of before. It's proper name is a Double-Trouble Writing Huddle, but it's more fondly referred to as a DTWH. These ships are manned by only two people, and they dock in this harbor.

There's just one problem - before we can take you down to the docks to check them out and make one of your own, we need to figure out when! We've left a poll here for you to tell us what dates work the best for you. If you're interested and have a time that works best, please let us know in this thread. We'll also give you a holler when the date and time are decided on, so please subscribe as well.

We hope to see ye scallywags there!

The tentative date and time for this is going to be , but if that time doesn't work well for those interested in attending, I'll gladly make it later in the day. Just let me know as soon as possible!

It would work better for me if it was later in the day (right now I'm thinking around 4:00 p.m. EST), but I'll go with the good of the group!

@Saen That time is midnight for me, which isn't the most ideal, but I can work with it since I'm a night owl anyway and I've got nothing on that next morning. Having the time any later would be a challenge, though, unless it much, MUCH later. The date itself is fine! ^^

I can't make that time because it's a bit too late for me (1 pm on a Saturday is the busiest time of the week for me) but I understand that most people probably either need that time or later, so keep it if you like and I'll just read through it after the workshop.

Since it looks like the time doesn't work well for a lot of people, how does @MJTucker's suggestion of sound?

I can't either... Sorry.

The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.

@Saen I could make that date and time, although some hours later would be preferred (I'd have to wake up earlier than my usual especially for it). Whatever the case, I'll try to be as flexible as possible with times. c:

What about ? As of right now, I can't predict the workshop going on for much longer than an hour - the main goal is to pair people up to make threads together, and go over how to start one. Once you get an idea on what to write, it's pretty easy to make them.

The DTWH workshop is now online! It won't officially start for another twenty minutes, but you can come and hang out until then with me in the pad.
