I let Nic explain and don't answer, Jackie keeping her mouth just, "Tell him, Nic," I smile.

Preston

Nic almost glares at her, shifting uncomfortably, "We went to school together. Were together. For... three years or something."

Juliet

Jackie makes a gag face and I bite my lip, "Yep. And he was an a*sh*le and deserved every last bit of my lecture. I wouldn't be surprised if he treats you like a peice of sh*t, Jackie, 'cause that's what he did to me."

Preston

I say nothing, still trying to process it, but Nic narrows his eyes coldly at Juliet.

"What we had wasn't love," he tells her. "It was infatuation. You knew about me before you signed on, so don't pull that bullsh*t. Don't you dare say that I'd ever do that to my wife either. You have no freaking right. You don't know me anymore."

Juliet

Jackie stays silent and I look at her, studying her, before crossing my arms, "Did he ever tell you about the head cheerleader?" I smirk, "How he got her pregnant before you?"

Her face goes pale and she looks at Nic for a second before shaking her head.

"He just asked you out when it happened," I sigh, "And I'm not lying."

She studies me, "Serena?"

I nod, "Yep."

Preston

Nic swallows, studying Juliet before glancing at Jackie, "She didn't tell me it was mine. I didn't know. Everything before you was a blur. I was reckless and stupid, but none of it was real."

Juliet

I look back at Preston, going silent, as Jackie nods and sighs.

I study him, "Do you still want to be together?" I ask, "Or...is it too wrong?"

Preston

I look at Juliet and hesitate before nodding, "It's in the past. I... I honestly can't picture the two of you ever before either, thank gods...."

Juliet

I flash a smile and kiss him again, setting a hand on the side of his face.

Preston

I smile and kiss her back.

Juliet

I go on my tip toes and Jackie gags again, walking out of the room.

Preston

Nic leaves with her, muttering under his breath again, but I keep my eyes closed.

Juliet

I lean against the wall again, an arm around his neck.

Preston

I keep my arms around her and lean against the wall as well, staying close.

Juliet

I pull back, "Where do we sleep? Do we have seperate rooms or..."
